"Dawn"

Morning glory, you who bring the sweetest blossom by morning light
Morning glory, creations splendor who knows nothing of the night
I see the blackest firefly by day
Unnoticed as it skirts the sky to play.
And though we occupy and take our place
We feel the void that separates by time and space
Tied and trellised she grows amidst the Queen Anne's Lace
By night he flies to bring his light and shining grace
Both appearing in the light for all to see
Still I do not know you
Still you do not know me
Obscured from one another like a mystery

Watching close while you ascend to azure skies
While the blossom... just once unfurls it's beauty
Then will close and die.
While he who skirts the wind and takes in majestic view.
Tender blossom revels in refreshing morning dew
Contented in this peace I've come to know
Be it glorious morning or the light from the fireflies glow
To one who gives and loves unselfishly
Still I do not know you
Still....you do not know me.
